Sunday's Elections - voting advice

Elections "VOTING in both the municipal and autonomous community elections takes place on Sunday 22nd May. Non-Spanish residents who are registered on the municipal census ('Padron') and the electoral role, are entitled to vote ONLY... in the municipal elections, using the WHITE coloured voting slips and the WHITE envelope. PLEASE DO NOT mark the voting paper with a cross or with any other mark as this will result in your vote becoming VOID. When you attend the polling station, you should take with you a current, recognised form of identity which contains a photograph (passport, ID card, Driver's Licence). The POLLING STATION where you place your vote is, most likely, the nearest local school to your home.

Torrevieja

Don´t forget all you expats who are residents in Spain, you have until 9pm tonight to cast your valuable vote and have your say in your local community!
Kind regards.

I understand from watching the Spanish news late last night that the PP(Partido Popular) had won the majority of the votes in the local elections. Apparently gaining many seats from the PSOE. Lets see how this develops in terms of changes that most people are looking for and how this transpires towards next years General Election.
